Dennis — You are correct. However, if you add a link rather than an image, Google+ will pull an image from your post AND link it, which is usually the better way to go.

I have used the link option, but it was pulling in a poor image, but after watching your video, I now know how to choose an alternative image where available, too 🙂

Is there any way that we can choose an image of our choice which is not there in the suggested image options of google.
